Naughty Dog Desserts, Inc. is a privately held company which began in 2005. Our mission is to manufacture healthy desserts that don't sacrifice taste for the sake of health. The recipes for our products began with the Original Plain Cocoa Brownies. I used to make them together with my son Christopher who at age 7 who was a brownie lover just like his dad. We started baking our brownies lowering the cholesterol and salt, eliminating all artificial ingredients as well as chemicals put in baked goods for various reasons having nothing to do with taste or goodness. The result is a lighter ALL NATURAL brownie that is more chocolaty and MUCH LESS SUGARY than most brownies on the market today. In the course of our lives, eating all of the chemicals and artificial ingredients that are put into the food supply on a regular basis, we are wreaking havoc with our body. The cumlulative effects of all of these bad ingredients, over a persons lifetime may have catastrophic effects. We have to be vigilant about what our children eat. When I was a kid the term "Food Technologist" wasn't as prevalent as it is today. Virtually every large food manufacturing company employs them. The chemicals they use to improve texture and shelf life, are the ones we need to avoid. They only help the manufacturer's BOTTOM LINE. The FDA is not on our side the way you think. Just because they say something is safe to eat doesn't mean that there are no risks invloved. We need to be smarter and better informed for our children and teach them how to eat! What do you think?
