Fact and Fiction about CBD Edibles

...Way beyond mere chocolate...

CBD Oil has been around for many years. It is used to control epilepsy in children and adults. The dose for a child with epilepsy is 600mgs. The dose in our brownies delivers 50mgs. However 25mgs. seem to be the adult dose as seen by our own experience and the feedback we get from our customers.  There is no apparent overdose limit when used in normal consumption.

What is it made from?

There is a lot of confusion about CBD oil with respect to what it is made from. There is marijuana which has THC, the psychoactive component in “weed”.

Then there is HEMP.  Hemp is a strain of marijuana much the same as we have different strains of apples: Macintosh, Fuji, Honey Crisp, etc. All different but still apples.

There are many products out there which say made with Hemp Oil. Beware! Hemp oil in and of itself contains no THC, but also NO CBD. Hemp oil is an oil rich in amino acids. We use Hemp Oil & CBD oil from the country's leading manufacturer.

The plants used inherently have less than the minimum THC 0.3% as per constant chemical analysis). Our process is an OXYGEN process which is the GOLD STANDARD for the distillation of these compounds.

Our supplier use no chemicals to extract our products. Many less expensive hemp oils and CBD products are separated with chemicals which leave residual chemicals in the final product. You consume those chemicals when you use those products.

CBD's are legal in 50 states as far as the Federal Government is concerned. Different states have their own laws and this is where a lot of confusion in regard to legality comes from.

We are based in NEW YORK CITY. Here the law states that CBDs are not legal as a food ingredient. You can buy the oil in NYC and squirt directly into your mouth with an eye dropper but you cannot eat a brownie or a gummy bear or any other food containing CBD.

The other issue is that the FDA still to this day lists marijuana as a schedule 1 drug along with heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, and LSD. The criteria is whether a drug has any medicinal value. The drugs listed do not have any medicinal value. Clearly, CBD does not belong in this class of drugs because it does have many many medicinal uses. The endocannabinoid system  (which was recently discovered) in our bodies was put there expressly to allow the human body to utilize CBD compounds. It’s just a matter of time before the classification of CBD will be changed and it will be recognized to be a serious pain management drug, that can also help with depression, anxiety, stress, and many other ailments.

Our products contain the highest quality pharmaceutical grade CBDs all FULL SPECTRUM.

When you eat a PAIN-FREE BAKER product you know exactly what you are getting and how much CBD you are consuming.
